What is known is that The Bandonian was created for one purpose:
To report on matters of questionable importance with unwavering journalistic confidence.

Founded by self-appointed senior field correspondent Wally Robertson, The Bandonian exists somewhere between investigative journalism, public service, and complete misunderstanding. Wally has dedicated himself to asking the questions no one requested.

Unlike traditional newspapers, The Bandonian is committed to covering the stories that larger media organizations wisely ignore. Every article is written with excessive seriousness, unnecessary confidence, and just enough plausibility to make readers briefly wonder if it might actually be true.

We proudly believe that facts are important. Coincidentally, so is a good punchline. While many of our stories are inspired by real places, real people, and real events around Bandon, what happens after that is often left to Wally’s “investigative instincts”—a method that has not yet been recognized by any accredited journalism school.
